Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Shift Maintenance Electrician to perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance in support of plant operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability, safety, and functionality of electrical systems and equipment used in feed milling processes. The electrician will also assist mechanical millwrights in multidisciplinary tasks to ensure safe and efficient shift operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct immediate repair of electrical and mechanical-related machinery issues.
  • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical systems including motors, control panels, sensors, power distribution, PLCs, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, such as motor failures, panel issues, short circuits, and wiring defects.
  • Ensure proper installation, calibration, and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair logs.
  • Follow established safety procedures and respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.
  • Collaborate with mechanical maintenance teams to support plant operations during equipment setup or repair.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 2–4 year course related to Electrical Technology
  • With Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Technology
  • Registered Master Electrician (RME) license is an advantage
  • At least 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase systems, motor control, VFD, and basic PLC programming
  • Familiar with preventive maintenance routines, safety protocols, and emergency troubleshooting
  • Willing to work on 12-hour shifts, including rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Physically fit, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
