The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded, and financial statements are kept up-to-date. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The bookkeeper works closely with the accounting team, management, and vendors to ensure the financial health and integrity of the business.

Key responsiblities:

· Receive and review all documents and reports from branches prior to filing.

· Coordinate with branch representatives regarding clarifications, inquiries, and other accounting matters.

· Maintain and update the Books of Accounts.

· Consolidate monthly transactions.

· Check and validate all documents and reports submitted by the billing/accounting team.

· Maintain organized files of all accounting documents.

· Perform bank reconciliations for both old and new account.

· Ensure completeness of attached documents and accuracy of reports from all branches.

· Communicate with branches on accounting and reporting matters.

· Counter-check branch revolving fund reports and fund replenishment requests.

· Prepare monthly branch transaction summaries and Trial Balance.

· Prepare supporting schedules of branch expenses, advances, and depreciation of assets.

· Update and reconcile Cash Disbursement Books with corresponding bank statements.

· Prepare schedules of expenses and advances for the Manila Office.

· Prepare monthly financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Statement.

· Update subsidiary ledgers and ensure alignment with control accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field is the standard educational requirement.
  • Work Experience: preferably a candidate has 2 or more years of professional experience in accounting or a related role, if fresh graduate, willing to be trained.
  • Proficiency with common accounting software and spreadsheet applications, especially Microsoft Excel, is essential.
  • He /She has the ability to analyze financial data and solve complex problems is a core skill.
  • Strict attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are highly valued.
  • He / She has an excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for interacting with colleagues, clients, and other departments.
  • atleast residing within Parañaque area.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php21,000.00 per month
