Sales Manager for Fitness Gym

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will oversee all membership sales activities, develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals, and ensure an exceptional member experience from inquiry to onboarding. This role involves team leadership, lead generation, conversion tracking, and collaboration with marketing and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly membership targets

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team

  • Generate leads through community outreach, partnerships, referrals, and digital platforms

  • Monitor and manage the entire sales pipeline, from initial inquiry to membership sign-up

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

  • Collaborate with marketing to plan promotions and campaigns

  • Track sales performance using CRM or sales tracking tools and prepare regular reports

  • Represent the gym at community and promotional events

  • Provide feedback to improve sales processes and customer engagement

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fitness, health, or wellness industry

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • High energy, goal-driven, and self-motivated

  • Knowledge of fitness and gym operations is a plus

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools

  • Flexible with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
