About the role

SOS Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As the Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' requirements and exceed their expectations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of software applications
  2. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects throughout the software development lifecycle
  3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and analysts, to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance processes
  4. Automating testing procedures to improve efficiency and scalability
  5. Providing detailed reports and insights to stakeholders on the overall quality and progress of software projects
  6. Continuously researching and implementing best practices in software testing and quality assurance

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools
  3. Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional team.
  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  7. Ability to communicate effectively with Clients and stakeholders
  8. Reliability and strong sense of accountability in delivering high-quality work
