Job Summary

The Chef de Partie (Kitchen Head) is responsible for managing the entire kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and safety. As the lead chef, the role oversees menu execution, kitchen staff supervision, cost management, and compliance with hygiene standards. This position plays a critical role in driving culinary excellence and supporting the profitability of café and restaurant outlets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire kitchen team, overseeing daily food preparation and service.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Develop and execute menus, specials, and seasonal offerings in collaboration with management.
  • Maintain portion control, food presentation standards, and recipe adherence.
  • Prepare and analyze food cost reports; implement cost-saving measures.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering skills development and teamwork.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and food safety regulations (HACCP).
  • Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, and procurement.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and report issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with the F&B Supervisor for menu promotions and guest-related requirements.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 8–10 years' experience in kitchen operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven background managing café and restaurant kitchens, preferably in La Union
  • Strong track record in menu creation, cost management, and team supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per day
