Job Summary
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for supporting the overall operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of kitchen tools and work areas. This role assists the Chef de Partie in ensuring food quality, consistency, and compliance with sanitation standards. The Kitchen Staff helps maintain smooth kitchen operations to support café and restaurant service.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, portioning, marinating, and assembling ingredients.
- Support the Chef de Partie in cooking and plating as required.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to maintain freshness and food safety.
- Follow sanitation and hygiene standards in all work areas.
- Receive and organize kitchen deliveries; rotate stock properly (FIFO method).
- Report shortages of ingredients, supplies, or equipment issues to the Chef de Partie.
- Dispose of waste properly and keep kitchen areas orderly.
- Assist in café/restaurant opening and closing duties related to the kitchen.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Chef de Partie or F&B Supervisor.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; vocational training in culinary preferred
- At least 2 year of experience in kitchen work, preferably in cafés or restaurants in La Union
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php Php468.00 per day
