Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Lead Architect to oversee architectural design, planning, and execution across multiple projects. The successful candidate will guide design teams, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and manage coordination between stakeholders—from concept development to project close-out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of architectural concepts and detailed designs for various construction projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate with the architectural team, engineers, Sr. Quantity Surveyors, and project managers.
  • Review and approve architectural plans, specifications, and other design documents.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national building codes, safety regulations, and zoning laws.
  • Attend design and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Guide and mentor support staff.
  • Provide input and leadership in project bidding, budgeting, and scheduling processes.
  • Manage the use of architectural tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver effective design solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed Architect
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in architectural design and project management
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and regulations
  • Proficiency in design and drafting software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadline
