Job Summary:

The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and managing engineering projects with a strong focus on project management, quality assurance, and lighting design. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The Engineering Manager provides leadership to the engineering team, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and applies technical expertise to develop innovative lighting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management

Lead, plan, and execute engineering projects from initiation to completion.

Develop project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource allocations.

Monitor and control project progress to ensure timely delivery and within budget.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Operations, Sales, and Quality).

Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project issues.

Prepare and deliver project reports and presentations for management and clients.

2. Quality Assurance

Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures to ensure compliance with standards.

Conduct inspections, testing, and evaluations of engineering deliverables.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations, industry codes, and client requirements.

Investigate quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement.

Establish performance metrics and reporting systems for quality monitoring.

3. Lighting Design Experience

Provide technical expertise in lighting design, including layout, calculation, and specification.

Use lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD) to prepare and review design proposals.

Ensure designs are compliant with applicable codes, sustainability standards, and client requirements.

Collaborate with architects, consultants, and clients to deliver innovative and efficient lighting solutions.

Evaluate emerging lighting technologies and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness.

4. Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technicians.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and conduct evaluations.

Build a collaborative and high-performing engineering team.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact for engineering-related matters.

Manage communication and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.

Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing technical requirements and providing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical) Master's Degree is an advantage.

Professional Engineering License/Certification preferred.

Minimum 3–7 years of experience in engineering management, with proven expertise in project management, quality assurance, and lighting design.

Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., Dialux).

Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations (local and international).

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php55, Php60,000.00 per month
