Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all hotel engineering operations, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Ensure the optimal performance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs; maintain accurate equipment and service records.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and facility standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise the engineering team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and foster professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance requests and operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, fire protection, and government regulations.
  • Manage contractors, procurement of materials, and maintenance-related budgets.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on equipment status, energy consumption, and departmental activities.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineer (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in building maintenance or engineering operations.
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, ideally within a hotel or commercial facility.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in preventive maintenance planning, safety compliance, and regulatory standards.
