MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  1. Provide mobile safety and engineering / technical support across managed properties and projects acquired by the operations division.
  2. Ensure proper functioning  of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general facilities systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of the assigned properties.
  3. Check engineering standards, regulatory and  EHS compliances of the assigned projects of the operations division.
  4. Conduct regular and systematic safety inspections and audits of the properties, tools and equipment and projects assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Conduct regular inspection rounds, monitor equipment conditions across managed properties and report any abnormalities. Accomplish regular equipment checklist.
  2. Ensures that all equipment is in good running condition. Otherwise, implement troubleshooting activities to rectify any noted defects.
  3. Perform diverse maintenance tasks, minor day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance of building equipment and facilities. Provide first response to equipment breakdowns.
  4. Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls at different locations.
  5. Investigate accidents and incidents on the properties and/or projects to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  6. Ensure compliance of scope of works for preventive maintenance conducted by other contractors and subcontractors such as but not limited to electrical, air conditioning systems, generator sets and others.
  7. Monitoring, checking and logging of operational data of equipment and accessories. Safekeeping of records for all minor and major improvement works including all corrective and preventive maintenance activities. Maintain the data collected.
  8. Ensure all workers, supervisors, and subcontractors of Engineering Services Department adhere to safety policies, procedures, and government regulations
  9. Assist in the evaluation project plans, scope of works and procedures to identify potential risks before work begins.
  10. Promote a strong safety culture on the job site and help ensure employees know and follow proper safety procedures.
  11. Witness the quality and safety checking of complete projects and activities of the Engineering Services Department.
  12. Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned by the immediate superior and/or Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 -3 years relevant experience in building maintenance and repair preferably high rise building.
  • At least vocational diploma/short course certificate in Air Conditioning/HVAC technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Electro-mechanical, Welding or any related courses.
  • Willing to travel or do field work.
