Position Overview:

The IT Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the organization's digital operations. This role involves resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring the efficient deployment and upkeep of all IT-related equipment. The IT Specialist will work closely with different departments to ensure seamless technology integration across the hospital.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely assistance, diagnose and resolve IT issues, provide after-hours support, and train end-users on technology tools.
  • Conduct maintenance, upgrades, monitoring, backups, recovery operations, and manage access controls, accounts, and equipment inventory.
  • Keep accurate records, perform audits, ensure high-quality support services, and handle additional assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing IT hardware/software, troubleshooting, and managing servers, networks, and systems; certifications (CompTIA, MCSA, CCNA) are a plus.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of IT support with a strong preference for candidates from hospital or clinical settings; familiarity with EHR systems and healthcare IT best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; knowledgeable in healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA); able to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments.
