Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager based in Cebu. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations and reporting, including preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing journal entries, and ensuring accurate accounting practices. The role involves maintaining fixed asset records, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supervising financial policies to ensure compliance. The Accounting Manager will work closely with the hotel management team to ensure financial strategies align with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
  • Proficient in handling Journal Entries and managing Fixed Assets
  • Excellent Analytical Skills related to financial data interpretation
  • Familiarity with Finance principles and accounting standards
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is an advantage
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
