KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Supervision
Assist the Laundry Manager in overseeing daily laundry operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of laundry services.
Monitor and maintain quality standards for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivery of linens, uniforms, and guest clothing (if applicable).
Ensure all laundry equipment is properly operated and maintained.
Staff Management
Supervise and schedule laundry staff, ensuring adequate manpower to meet operational requirements.
Train and coach team members on standard operating procedures (SOP), safety practices, and quality standards.
Monitor employee performance and recommend corrective actions or recognition as needed.
Inventory & Cost Control
Maintain and monitor inventory levels of detergents, chemicals, and linen stock.
Implement cost-control measures to minimize waste and maximize resources.
Prepare and submit usage and stock reports to the Laundry Manager.
Quality Assurance
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, stain removal, and proper handling of all laundry items.
Address and resolve guest complaints or internal concerns promptly and professionally.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Reporting & Coordination
Assist in preparing operational reports, performance evaluations, and improvement plans.
Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.) for smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 2–3 years of experience in laundry operations, preferably in hospitality or large-scale laundry facilities.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php33, Php35,000.00 per month
