Job Summary:

The Oracle Test Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and executing functional and integration tests across Oracle ERP modules, particularly in Accounting/Finance and Supply Chain Management. The role ensures that business requirements are accurately translated into test cases and that system functionalities perform as expected prior to deployment. The analyst collaborates closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to deliver high-quality Oracle ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and functional specifications related to Oracle Finance (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets) and Oracle Supply Chain (e.g., Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management, Procurement).
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to validate system enhancements, bug fixes, and configuration changes.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using test management and issue tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing and ensure business process alignment.
  • Validate data accuracy and reconciliation for transactions flowing between submodules and general ledger.
  • Participate in test data preparation and environment setup.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, internal controls, and change management procedures.
  • Provide status reports on testing progress, risks, and issues.
  • Support post-implementation reviews and production validations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ERP testing, preferably with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Cloud ERP, or Oracle Fusion.
  • Hands-on experience testing Oracle Finance and/or Supply Chain modules.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and supply chain processes.
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries for test validation and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with testing tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, Oracle Test Manager, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred:

  • ISTQB or similar QA certification.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud/Fusion implementations or upgrades.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Oracle Application Testing Suite) is a plus.
