Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and people-focused Sales Manager to lead the expansion of our lottery outlet network. This role is central to growing our retail footprint, managing a team of sales associates, and driving performance through both team leadership and direct account management. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in the field, inspires teams, and can strategically handle high-impact retail partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and support a team of sales associates responsible for onboarding and managing lottery retail outlets.
- Set and monitor KPIs for the team. Provide regular performance feedback, guidance, and motivation to achieve sales and expansion targets.
- Continuously develop the capabilities of sales associates through field coaching, structured training sessions, and knowledge sharing.
- Identify, pitch, and close key retail accounts (e.g., chain stores, high-traffic locations, or strategic partners). Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure long-term success.
- Plan and oversee execution of expansion activities across assigned regions, ensuring optimal territory coverage and resource allocation.
- Support hiring and onboarding of new team members to ensure alignment with company culture and sales standards.
- Ensure team alignment with broader sales strategies and contribute to the achievement of regional and national goals.
- Join team members in critical client meetings and negotiations, providing senior-level support to secure deals and resolve issues.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and compliance teams to support rollout initiatives, partner communications, and promotional activities.
- Monitor team activity and key account performance. Deliver regular reports and actionable insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Proven ability to manage and develop sales teams
- Strong experience in handling key accounts or business development deals
- Background in retail, lottery, FMCG, or telecom sectors preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
