Position Overview

The Sales Manager in the Marketing Department is responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategic plans to drive business growth, aligning sales efforts with marketing initiatives, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires close collaboration with marketing, product, and executive teams to achieve sales targets and improve brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development:

    • Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with marketing goals.

    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies proactively.

  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives.

    • Set performance metrics and conduct regular evaluations.

  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients.

    • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management and support.

  • Collaboration with Marketing:

    • Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and promotional activities with sales objectives.

    • Provide feedback to the marketing team based on customer interactions and sales data.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

    • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.

    • Forecast revenue and identify areas for improvement.

  • Budget Management:

    • Manage the sales budget and ensure optimal allocation of resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales, preferably in a marketing-oriented organization.

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets consistently.
