Job Summary

We're seeking for an experienced Paralegal to provide legal and administrative support to the Legal department, focusing on the legal, regulatory, and contractual needs of the behavioral health industry. The ideal candidate will confirm meticulous document management and support compliance efforts while collaborating across departments to minimize legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and corporate/legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare summaries, and assist attorneys in case management.
  • Manage the legal hold and subpoena processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date legal records and documentation.
  • Support audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Track filing deadlines and ensure timely submissions to courts and agencies.
  • Coordinate with external counsel and vendors under attorney supervision.
  • Prepare presentations and manage administrative tasks for the legal team.
  • Proficiently prepare documents using Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Work independently while managing a heavy workload with attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Legal Studies or Paralegal Certification.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required for this position.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in the behavioral health industry.
  • Mandatory experience in the behavioural health industry is required.
