Job Description A highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal to support the management and protection of the client’s domestic and international trademark portfolios. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The ideal candidate will be experienced in trademark filings, docket management, and client communication. You’ll work closely with attorneys, clients, and foreign associates to ensure that all filings, renewals, and correspondences are managed accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong legal administrative background who enjoys a structured workflow and thrives in a fast-paced, professional remote environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor trademark applications with the USPTO and international trademark offices, track filing deadlines, renewal dates, and responses through a docketing system. Maintain accurate and organized IP portfolios and digital client files. Prepare and submit trademark filings, renewals, and correspondence under attorney supervision. Coordinate with clients, the USPTO, and international associates regarding filings and case updates. Assist with document preparation, data entry, and record-keeping for all IP-related matters. Conduct research on IP-related issues, track case progress, and prepare status reports for client or internal review. Maintain up-to-date records of all communication and procedural steps. Manage client correspondence related to trademark filings, renewals, and portfolio updates, ensuring prompt, professional, clear communication with clients and external partners. Handle all work with the highest standards of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a Paralegal, ideally within Intellectual Property or Trademark Law. Familiarity with USPTO procedures, international IP systems, and docketing tools. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational ability, and accuracy in record-keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and attorney correspondence. Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and legal management software. Responsible, discreet, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
