Material Control Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules and coordinates material procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of equipment, materials, parts, and assemblies between departments and project sites according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities.
  • Compiles and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, receipts, reports and status and location of materials.
  • Carries out technical evaluation of Materials Purchase Requisition iniated by Department and evaluates Vendors quotations in consultation with the end users.
  • Clearly identified non-conforming items received and with correction action is to be determined by the office. Informed Procurement Manager if defective items or incorrect quantities are delivered and if any are found to be poor quality.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree on Civil Engineering.
  • MUST be a Licensed Engineer.
  • At least three (3) years of work experience in the same field.
  • with previous work experience as Project Engineer/QA/QC Head
  • Familiar with project planning and conceptualization; project implementation and control; standards, methods and processes.
  • Has strong knowledge in procurement planning.
  • Well verse in AutoCAD and other engineering softwares.
  • Must be willing to work in Brgy. San Isidro, Cainta, Rizal
