About the Role

We are looking for a Systems Analyst (Hybrid work setup) with strong technical expertise and analytical capability to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise systems and applications.

This role requires solid experience in .NET (preferably with good VB.NET experience) development, SQL, and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate should be adept at translating business requirements into effective system solutions, managing integrations and migrations, and producing complex reports and analytics to support decision-making.

You will work closely with IT leadership, developers, testers, and vendors to ensure that systems are efficiently designed, implemented, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications and technical designs.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of solutions.
  • Design and maintain applications using .NET technologies (VB.NET preferred).
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
  • Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Document all stages of the SDLC, including requirements, design, testing, and deployment deliverables.
  • Support integration and data migration initiatives between systems.
  • Create and maintain complex reports and dashboards using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of business-critical information.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing applications and codebases.
  • Coordinate with vendors and external partners, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Support adherence to established standards, methodologies, and governance processes within IT projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis or software development.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET technologies (VB.NET experience preferred).
  • Proficient in SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Solid understanding of Waterfall development methodology and SDLC documentation requirements.
  • Experience in system integration and data migration projects.
  • Proven ability to handle code maintenance and version control.
  • Skilled in data analytics and Power BI reporting (or similar tools).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with vendors or third-party system providers is a must.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to enterprise systems or ERP environments.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and middleware technologies.
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Experience writing technical specifications and test cases.

Job Types: Fixed term, Temporary
