About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled
Technical Documentation Writer
to create, maintain, and improve documentation that makes complex technical concepts easy to understand. The ideal candidate has strong writing skills, technical curiosity, and the ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to deliver clear and concise content for our users and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including:
  • User guides, API documentation, product manuals, FAQs, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject-matter experts to gather information.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content.
  • Standardize documentation across products and platforms using templates and style guides.
  • Edit, review, and proofread materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Manage documentation versions and updates aligned with product releases.
  • Organize content in knowledge bases, wikis, or documentation portals for easy accessibility.
  • Collect and integrate user feedback to continuously improve documentation quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or related field
    , or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a
    Technical Writer, Documentation Specialist, or similar role
    , preferably in software/technology.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as
    Markdown, Confluence, Git, DITA, or similar platforms
    .
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience documenting
    APIs, SDKs, or developer tools
    .
  • Familiarity with
    UI/UX design principles
    .
  • Ability to create
    diagrams, visuals, or tutorials
    to complement documentation.
  • Knowledge of
    content management systems (CMS)
    and single-sourcing strategies.
