Technical Content Writer – Remote, Full-Time

Location: Remote

Hours: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (GMT)

Salary: ₱30,000 – ₱35,000 per month

Reports to: Head of Marketing / Content Manager


About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Content Writer to create clear, engaging, and accurate content that translates complex technical topics into user-friendly materials.

You'll be responsible for producing blog articles, case studies, whitepapers, product documentation, website copy, and SEO-optimized resources. This role is ideal for someone who loves technology, has excellent research skills, and can balance technical accuracy with creative storytelling.


What You'll Do

  • Research, write, and edit technical articles, blogs, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Create product documentation, guides, FAQs, and knowledge base content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and marketing teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content for different audiences.
  • Optimize content for SEO best practices (keywords, structure, metadata).
  • Proofread and edit copy for clarity, style, and tone consistency.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor content.
  • Contribute to the development of a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of assets.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

  • Proven 1-2 years experience as a Technical Writer, Content Writer, or Copywriter in IT, SaaS, or technology fields.
  • Strong ability to research and simplify complex technical topics.
  • Excellent English writing, editing, and grammar skills.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO).
  • Experience with multiple SEO tools including SEMrush, Ahrefs, and SurferSEO is required.
  • Experience writing for blogs, documentation, and marketing collateral.
  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical teams.

Crucial Skills:

  • Research & fact-checking for technical accuracy.
  • Content structuring and information hierarchy (easy-to-read layouts).
  • Adaptability in tone and style (technical vs. marketing copy).
  • Understanding of SEO, keyword intent, and content optimization.
  • Ability to create content tailored for different stages of the buyer's journey.
  • Strong grasp of technology trends, software, and IT terminology.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background in IT, computer science, or engineering.
  • Experience with APIs, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, or SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with Markdown, HTML, or Git for documentation.
  • Previous experience in a digital agency or B2B tech environment.
