As we grow globally, we're looking for a technical writer who lives at the intersection of GRC, SaaS and great writing to help us explain complex concepts in a way that feels clear, practical and consistent across markets.


The role

As our technical writer (GRC & SaaS – global), you'll create clear, accurate, user-focused documentation that makes our platform easy to understand and adopt for customers working in complex regulatory environments.

You'll work closely with our Senior Technical Writer and the broader content team, as well as product managers, engineers and GRC specialists, to produce content that is technically sound, compliant and tuned to the needs of users in different regions.


What you'll do
  • Write and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for our GRC SaaS platform, including knowledge base articles, blogs and marketing content.
  • Translate complex GRC concepts (e.g. controls, risk registers, audit workflows, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA) into approachable, accurate content for non-expert users.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering and GRC experts to ensure content is correct, current and aligned with how the product actually works.
  • Adapt content for different regions and audiences so examples, terminology and emphasis feel relevant while still staying consistent with our global platform.
  • Support training and onboarding materials (guides, walkthroughs, checklists) that help new customers adopt 6clicks quickly and confidently.
  • Contribute to and maintain a consistent voice, tone and style for all technical content, in line with the 6clicks brand.
  • Continuously improve documentation structure, navigation and usability so users can find answers fast.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure documentation reflects regulatory expectations and industry best practice wherever relevant.

What we're looking for

Must-haves

  • Proven experience as a technical writer for B2B SaaS products, ideally in security, risk, compliance or adjacent domains.
  • Demonstrable experience writing GRC-specific content – for example around ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA, risk registers, control libraries or audit workflows.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO, NIST, SOC 2, HIPAA) and how they show up in real-world implementations.
  • Ability to turn complex, technical material into structured, readable documentation for different audience types (end users, admins, advisors).
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills in English, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, consultants and regional teams, often asynchronously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with developer-facing documentation (APIs, webhooks, integration guides).
  • Experience using modern documentation tools and workflows.
