A medical doctor or physician is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in patients. Their role includes conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and performing medical procedures. Physicians provide patient education about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain regularly updated patient medical records that document all evaluations, medications, treatments, allergies, test results, and other records
  • Evaluate a patient's symptoms and determine the most appropriate course of treatment to address them
  • Prescribe medications in compliance with state and federal statutes and inform patients of all possible risks, complications, and interference with other medications they may be taking
  • Supervise and evaluate Medical Assistants to ensure full compliance with regulations and make sure that the current care program is as effective as possible
  • Consult patients on topics such as proper nutrition, fitness, and hygiene to assist them in making informed decisions and taking good care of their health
  • Evaluate patients and provide appropriate medical attention and treatment for illness, injury, and routine care
  • Create care plans, coordinate diagnostic tests and other services, and counsel patients on preventive healthcare practices
  • Prescribe, administer, and dispense medication and supplements in accordance with national and local regulations
  • Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications, and transactions according to organizational policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's/Masteral/Doctorate Degree in Medicine or equivalent/related field.
  • Registered physician with an active PRC license to practice in the Philippines.
  • Preferably already accredited with PhilHealth.
  • Ability to perform medical assessments, exams, treatments.
  • Capable of handling emergency and managing medical situations immediately.
