Role Overview: The Product Specialist is a crucial role in the Marketing & Sales team, responsible for driving the success of all medical equipment products. They lead the product push — creating strategies, campaigns, and techniques to ensure products are actively promoted and moved in the market. The Product Specialist is also responsible for training and developing Medical Representatives, ensuring they are fully equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to push and promote products in the field.
This role requires someone who is confident, professional, not shy, and willing to exert extra effort to achieve results. They must be able to conduct trainings, lead discussions, and engage with healthcare professionals effectively.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Medical Technology, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or any related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in sales, product promotion, or marketing of medical equipment.
- Strongly preferred: background in healthcare (clinical practice, medical technology, biomedical engineering, or related).
- Proven success in product pushing, training, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product push of medical equipment: create and execute strategies to actively promote and move products in the market.
- Conduct product demonstrations, orientations, and training sessions for clients, healthcare professionals, and Medical Representatives.
- Provide technical product knowledge and ensure accurate, effective promotion across the team.
- Train, mentor, and coach Medical Representatives to strengthen their sales approach, product understanding, and confidence in client engagement.
- Develop and implement marketing and sales campaigns to maximize visibility and adoption of products.
- Monitor product performance, sales results, and competitor activities; recommend strategies to improve positioning and movement.
- Collaborate with internal teams for product launches, marketing events, trade shows, and client presentations.
- Ensure that products are consistently pushed, promoted, and moved, even with a wide product line.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with hospitals, doctors, nurses, and decision-makers.
- Travel as required to meet clients, conduct presentations, and support field activities.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment and healthcare systems.
- Skilled in sales strategy, product push, execution, and client engagement.
- Excellent training, presentation, and communication skills — can confidently conduct trainings, lead discussions, and engage clients.
- Professional, confident, and not shy — willing to exert effort and go the extra mile to achieve goals.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Skilled in content creation (Photoshop, video editing, social media presentations).
- Possesses strategic planning, forecasting, and innovation skills for the healthcare market.
- Proactive, results-driven, and able to handle multiple product lines.
- Flexible to travel and manage multiple training and client schedules.
