The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining all technology systems in the restaurant, including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, network infrastructure, security systems, and office IT equipment. This role ensures smooth daily operations by providing technical support, maintaining system uptime, and implementing technology solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • POS System Management:
  • Install, configure, and maintain POS software and hardware.
  • Troubleshoot POS issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Train staff on POS usage and updates.
  • Network & Connectivity:
  • Monitor and maintain reliable internet and Wi-Fi connections.
  • Configure and secure local networks, routers, and firewalls.
  • Collaborate with vendors and ISPs for network issues.
  • Hardware & Software Support:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot computers, tablets, printers, and other devices.
  • Manage software licenses and updates.
  • Support office applications (email, document management, accounting software).
  • Data Security & Backup:
  • Implement data backup solutions and ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain cybersecurity protocols for customer and business data.
  • CCTV & Security Systems:
  • Oversee installation and maintenance of surveillance systems.
  • Ensure secure access controls for employees and managers.
  • Technology Upgrades & Optimization:
  • Recommend and implement new technology solutions to streamline operations.
  • Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance.
  • Staff Training & Support:
  • Provide technical support and training to restaurant staff as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
