The Asset Sales Representative (ROPA) is responsible for the effective marketing and sale of repossessed or foreclosed assets, also known as Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA), to maximize recovery value for the company. This role involves managing listings, coordinating with potential buyers, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements throughout the asset disposition process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the sales process for all ROPA assets including vehicles, machinery, real estate, and other foreclosed properties.

· Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract buyers through digital listings, dealer networks, auctions, or direct sales.

· Coordinate with internal departments (legal, credit, operations) to ensure proper documentation and clear title prior to sale.

· Negotiate sales terms with buyers within approved pricing parameters.

· Conduct asset viewings, inspections, and attend auctions as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, buyer inquiries, offers, and final sale transactions.

· Prepare and submit regular sales reports, pipeline status, and performance metrics.

· Monitor market trends and adjust pricing or strategies accordingly to optimize sales velocity and recovery.

· Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations related to asset disposal.

· Build and maintain a network of agents, brokers, and dealers to expand buyer base.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field.

· At least 2-3 years of experience in asset sales, real estate sales, repossession, or related fields.

· Familiarity with handling ROPA assets, including real estate and movable assets.

· Strong negotiation and communication skills.

· Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

· Proficient in MS Office applications; knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.

· Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements on asset disposition is an advantage.

· Willing to travel or conduct site visits when necessary.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in financial institutions, banks, or asset management companies.

· Knowledge of appraisal and valuation processes.

· Exposure to auction management or e-commerce sales platforms.
