Bank General Manager, CPA

Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership, and management of the Bank's operations. The GM ensures sustainable growth, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and profitability, while promoting financial inclusion and maintaining the highest standards of integrity and service quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership and Planning
- Formulate and implement strategic plans and programs aligned with the Bank's mission, vision, and objectives.
- Recommend policies and initiatives to the Board of Directors for approval.
- Drive business growth through expansion of loan portfolios, deposit mobilization, and new financial products.
2. Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day banking operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Oversee branch operations and ensure quality service delivery to clients.
- Ensure compliance with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC), and other regulatory agencies.
3. Financial Management
- Prepare, review, and implement annual budgets and financial plans.
- Monitor financial performance indicators, profitability, liquidity, and asset quality.
- Ensure effective risk management and internal control systems.
4. Human Resource and Organizational Development
- Lead, motivate, and develop the management team and employees.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of key personnel.
5. Business Development and Marketing
- Identify new market opportunities and develop innovative banking products and services for rural communities.
- Strengthen relationships with clients, local government units (LGUs), cooperatives, and other stakeholders.
- Represent the bank in community and industry-related events to enhance visibility and reputation.
6. Governance and Compliance
- Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and adherence to banking laws and circulars.
- Implement internal audit recommendations and maintain sound governance practices.
- Advise the Board on potential risks and corrective measures.
7. Board Relations
- Serve as the primary liaison between management and the Board of Directors.
- Provide accurate and timely reports on the bank's financial and operational status.
- Implement Board resolutions effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Must be CPA
- Minimum of 5* years banking experience, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial position*.
- Strong understanding of BSP regulations, risk management, and rural banking operations.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and community involvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
