About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Generalist is the essential, flexible resource enabling high-efficiency TA execution across global time zones. This role is a critical hybrid function, blending administration, candidate sourcing, and night-shift operational support. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless, compliant TA processes, from contract preparation and background check initiation to direct, real-time support for night-time client interviews. This role requires adaptability, a bias for action, and a commitment to immediate problem resolution, making you a vital pillar of the TA team.
This role is offered as a project-based contract for an initial six-month period, with the potential for extension contingent upon business requirements and performance.

What you'll do
- Global Interview Coordination & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for all night-time interview scheduling and execution, guaranteeing that both candidates and hiring managers successfully join. You will be on-call during these hours to proactively troubleshoot and resolve any technical or attendance issues instantly. You will ensure that our clients feel Penbrother's support & service.
- TA Administration and Compliance: Execute the operational backbone of TA, including the drafting, preparation, and distribution of official offer letters and employment contracts. You will rigorously manage the pre-employment requirements process, monitoring background checks, liaising with vendors, and ensuring all hiring documentation is complete and compliant.
- Full-Spectrum Candidate Sourcing: Provide flexible, as-needed sourcing support across a diverse range of hiring needs, including technical (IT) and non-technical roles. This includes pipeline generation, initial candidate screening, and maintaining database accuracy to support strategic recruitment efforts.
- Ad Hoc Operational Support: Serve as the go-to resource for a wide range of operational and administrative tasks within the TA function. This requires a high degree of versatility and the willingness to take ownership of any assigned task to ensure the smooth, continuous flow of TA processes.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years of dedicated experience in an HR, Recruiting, or high-volume administrative support role.
- Operational Resilience: Proven ability to work productively and maintain focus during non-traditional hours (night shift) and effectively manage concurrent, time-sensitive tasks.
- Flexibility & Problem-Solving: Exceptional adaptability to shifting priorities and the ability to proactively identify and resolve problems independently, particularly in high-pressure, live operational scenarios (e.g., during critical interviews).
- Detail Orientation: High-level attention to detail and accuracy, especially with sensitive data related to contracts, compliance, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills. Proactive communication style.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and standard business suites (Google Workspace/MS Office).
- Knowledge of use of AI tools to boost efficiency in your work.
- Service-oriented with a commitment to providing a positive candidate and stakeholder experience
- Trustworthy, shows ownership and accountability of duties and responsibilities.
