The Regional Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing sales activities and client relationships within a designated region. This position requires a strategic approach to drive revenue growth, foster strong client partnerships, and ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives.

B. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Sales Strategy Development:

· Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the region.

· Identify growth opportunities and create actionable plans to capitalize on them.

  1. Team Leadership

· Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve individual and team goals.

· Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team.

  1. Account Management:

· Manage key client relationships within the region, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.

· Develop strong partnerships with clients, understand their business needs, and proactively identify opportunities to add value.

  1. Sales Performance Monitoring:

· Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, sales pipeline, and conversion rates.

· Analyze data to identify trends, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies.

  1. Market Analysis:

· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.

· Use insights to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

· Collaborate with internal teams such as business development, operations and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

· Provide feedback and insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.

  1. Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

· Generate regular sales reports and forecasts to provide insights into sales performance and trends.

· Communicate findings to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.

  1. Compliance and Risk Management:

· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

· Identify and mitigate potential risks that may impact sales operations or client relationships.

C. SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field

· At least 5-year experience in sales and account management at managerial level

· Proven experience in sales management and account management, with a track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding targets

· Strong understanding of cold chain logistics, warehousing operations, and supply chain management.

· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions

· Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics

· Experience in the logistics and warehousing

· Willingness to travel within the region as needed

· Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities
