Your Role

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will:
  • Develop and design email content that drives engagement, conversions, and retention
  • Write compelling subject lines, headers, and body copy aligned with iBuyNew's tone and brand voice
  • Create simple graphics and visual assets to enhance email content using tools like Canva
  • Design visually appealing, mobile-responsive email templates that reflect iBuyNew branding
  • A/B test subject lines, visuals, and content to continually optimise campaign performance
  • Email Campaign Execution
  • Build, test, and schedule email campaigns in ActiveCampaign, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Support the deployment of both ad-hoc and automated email journeys across the customer lifecycle
  • Segment email lists based on user demographics, behaviour, engagement, and preferences
  • Liaise with our specialist agency to support the setup, testing, and activation of automation flows
  • Maintain list hygiene and manage unsubscribes, bounces, and deliverability standards
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with privacy laws and email marketing best practices
  • Performance Tracking & Collaboration
  • Monitor, report, and analyse campaign metrics including open rate, click-through, and conversions
  • Use insights to recommend and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (content, events, CRM, and sales) to align messaging and campaign timing
  • Maintain documentation of templates, automations, and campaign history for internal visibility

What You Need

Non-negotiables
  • Proven experience in email marketing.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using email marketing platforms, must demonstrate proficiency in Active Campaign.
  • Graphic design skills and experience.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and metrics for optimising campaigns.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
