Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in accounting and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring full compliance with local tax laws and BIR regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, journal entries, and financial statements.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, Income Tax, etc.) in compliance with BIR standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow and disbursements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards.
  • General Accounting knowledge

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in general accounting and tax compliance in the Philippines.
  • Strong knowledge of BIR regulations and filing processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or local systems).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
