JOB SUMMARY:

Prepares cost estimates and bid documents for CAPEX projects, emergency projects, and large-meter installations; Performs quantification for progress billings, variation orders, and Final Contract Cost and Quantification (FCCQ).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS Civil / Mechanical Engineering graduate
  • Must be a licensed Engineer
  • At least three years of quantity surveying work in the water distribution industry
  • Must be proficient in cost estimation, project costing, and quantification
  • Knowledgeable in utility construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • With strong skills in preparing and evaluating Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and other bid documents
  • Familiar with Value Engineering principles
