Job Description

As an Encompass Administrator, you will play a key role in optimizing the Loan Origination System (LOS) to support essential business operations. Using your mortgage expertise and technical proficiency, you'll evaluate system performance, implement enhancements, and resolve issues to maintain smooth, efficient workflows. This role also involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement across processes.

The Qualifications We Seek

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with loan software systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience using Encompass, with proven ability to build input forms, create business rules, and manage system workflows.
• 5+ years of experience in the mortgage industry, covering origination, processing, underwriting, and servicing.
• Strong understanding of the complete loan lifecycle, from point of sale through servicing and secondary markets.
• Advanced knowledge of real estate lending regulations and compliance standards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry requirements.
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar workflow-tracking tools is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and system stakeholders.

Your Daily Tasks

• Work with applicable business units to identify areas of improvement, implement changes, and maintain input forms, business rules, major releases, loan programs, disclosures, HMDA support, servicing transfers, and other Encompass functions
• Evaluate the Encompass system and its integrations to improve business workflows
• Design and implement change requests by creating or updating input forms and business rules
• Troubleshoot and resolve system functionality issues
• Track updates and deadlines using the project management system
• Stay up to date on key Encompass trends and Ellie Mae initiatives
• Collaborate with the .Net Team and Product Manager for incoming requests
• Ensure updates do not negatively affect system functionality
• Act as an escalation point for general inquiries and troubleshooting requests from Support
