OrbitalX is seeking a hands-on, diligent, and commercially minded Learning & Development (L&D) Manager with a minimum of 7+ years' experience designing and delivering scalable training programmes for agencies or software companies across multiple disciplines (e.g., creative, marketing, product, project management, operations). You'll partner with leaders and teams serving European and North American clients, and you're comfortable managing project-style rollouts end to end.
What you'll do- Own the L&D strategy: Define a clear learning vision and roadmap aligned to business goals, client demands, and capability gaps.
- Programme development: Build learning programs across different functions
- Content creation & curation: Develop high-quality materials (decks, guides, job aids, videos, e-learning) and curate external resources; maintain a living knowledge base.
- LMS ownership: Implement/administer the LMS
- Measurement & impact: Define success metrics (adoption, completion, assessment scores, time-to-productivity, performance outcomes)
- Capability building for client work: Equip teams with client-readiness skills (communication, QA of deliverables, consultative skills, tooling proficiency) to drive measurable commercial impact.
- 7+ years building and scaling L&D programmes in agencies or software/SaaS environments.
- Proven experience working with European and/or North American clients and distributed teams.
- Strong project and stakeholder management; comfortable owning multi-workstream initiatives.
- Hands-on with LMS
- Data-driven mindset; able to turn insights into programme improvements and business outcomes.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching skills; able to enable busy SMEs to teach well.
- High bar for quality, accessibility, and brand alignment across all learning assets.
- Certifications (e.g., CIPD L&D, ATD CPTD/APTD, Coaching).
