Learning and Development Manager (Corporate)

About the Role

We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager who will lead the design and implementation of strategies that build capability, strengthen leadership, and drive organizational effectiveness. The role will handle training and leadership programs, performance management, succession planning, and organizational transformation projects.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and hands-on implementer, passionate about fostering a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Learning & Capability Development

  2. Conduct training needs analysis and develop targeted learning programs addressing business and competency gaps.

  3. Design and deliver technical, behavioral, and leadership training programs through blended learning methods (e-learning, workshops, mentoring, coaching).
  4. Partner with managers and BU heads to align development programs with organizational goals.
  5. Source, evaluate, and manage training vendors and external learning partners.

  6. Training Quality & Evaluation

  7. Measure learning effectiveness using surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.

  8. Use data insights to continuously improve learning programs and identify high-impact development initiatives.
  9. Track and manage the L&D budget and dashboard, ensuring data accuracy and reporting integrity.

  10. Organizational Development & Change

  11. Lead and support strategic OD projects such as job design, organization restructuring, workforce planning, and competency framework development.

  12. Partner with HR leaders on succession planning, performance management, and talent development strategies.
  13. Contribute to the design and implementation of change management initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organizational readiness.
  14. Support the review and alignment of compensation and benefits strategies with development and retention goals.

  15. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  16. Lead and mentor L&D specialists to strengthen the function's internal capability.

  17. Collaborate with department heads, HR business partners, and external institutions (universities, training centers, industry groups) to expand learning networks.
  18. Promote a culture of growth, inclusion, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.

  19. Special Initiatives

  20. Support CSR and employee engagement programs that reinforce the organization's culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in Learning and Development, with exposure to Organizational Development initiatives.
  • Strong facilitation, consulting, and project management skills.
  • Experience in digital learning platforms and analytics-driven program evaluation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Willing to report onsite at San Juan Manila, Mon-Fri 9am-6pm.
