Job Overview

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our company's financial health, primarily responsible for accounting and management, as well as tax and audit reporting. He/she will ensure that all financial records are maintained in accordance with the company's prescribed policies and procedures, in conformity with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly BIR returns, but not limited to VAT, Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other local taxes, including required Alphalist attachments (detailed employee compensation and tax withheld). Provide tax assessment support.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine government regulations, including the timely filing of BIR, SEC, and other government-related documents and reports.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing required documentation, schedules, and reports related to taxes and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review, highlighting any discrepancies or compliance-related issues.
  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting schedules to support both month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Assist with other finance functions and other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance
  • With at least two years of experience in taxes, auditing, accounting, or financial reporting.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Collaborative, Agile, and Resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • A strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to build relationships across multiple organizational levels.
  • Maintains the highest ethical standards in all internal and external dealings and relationships
