Job Summary

Evaluates consumer loan applications and performs verification as needed. Assess eligibility, determine degree of risk involved in extending credit or loan, provide data-driven decision and sound judgment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and assesses consumer loan applications based on minimum risk acceptance criteria to determine eligibility.
  • Establish identity and capacity to pay based on investigation results, credit checking, and submitted documents, to determine feasibility of granting loan or credit.
  • Renders sound judgment and credit decision on consumer loan applications.
  • Ensures compliance with policies and procedures using the operations manual and underwriting guidelines to control risk.
  • Proactively propose initiatives to achieve or improve productivity, service delivery, and quality of work.
  • Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking
  • With 2 years or more experience in Banking and Finance, or Credit Evaluation in Lending Companies/FinTech are preferred
  • Knowledge on credit evaluation process
