About the role

RCBC Leasing and Finance Corporation is seeking an experienced Remedial Officer to join our team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a Remedial Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving non-performing accounts, ensuring the recovery of outstanding debts and maintaining the financial health of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the collection and recovery of non-performing accounts
  • Negotiate and restructure payment arrangements with delinquent clients to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of non-performing accounts and recovery efforts
  • Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective portfolio management
  • Provide recommendations and insights to improve the company's credit policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze industry trends and best practices to enhance the remedial process
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a remedial or collections role, preferably within the banking or finance industry
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficient in data analysis and financial modelling, with the ability to interpret and present complex financial information
  • Thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
