BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Transport Garage Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth communication and coordination between delivery teams, warehouse dispatchers, and customer service representatives (CSR).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regularly communicate with teams to track location and delivery status

  • Notify team promptly of any additional delivery information or changes

  • Submit turnover report before end of shift

  • Update the daily dispatch status monitoring report

  • Use GPS and fleet tracking systems to monitor the location and progress of in-house delivery trucks

  • With closely coordination with transport warehouse dispatcher for any dispatching issues and concerns

  • Coordinate with CSR for any delivery concerns

  • Assist Delivery Team for any unattended issues concerning the CSR and CNC group

  • Prepare delivery trip tickers and advise in house team for the final route schedule

  • Coordinate with transport warehouse dispatcher for the ETA status of the in-house

  • Releasing of delivery budget of all in-house truck

  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch schedules and delivery status

  • Prepare Daily Manning and truck assignment

  • Coordination with transport route planner for any changes/revision on the given final route schedule

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a graduate of any 4-year course

  • Any relevant experience in Logistics or Transport operations is an advantage

  • Ability to work under stress and remain calm and to calm other people during rapidly changing circumstances

  • Ability to relay information in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be willing to work on a shifting schedule

  • Must be available to work weekends as part of the rotating shift schedule
