Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff management: Supervise warehouse personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and monitoring productivity.
  • Strategic management: Aligning warehouse operations with the company's vision and policies. This involves optimizing space utilization and implementing processes to boost productivity
  • Inventory and stock control: Manage the flow of goods, ensure accurate inventory records, and maintain sufficient stock levels for raw materials and finished products.
  • Logistics Supervision: Managing the movement of goods, from receiving and storage to order fulfillment and dispatching. This includes coordinating with suppliers, transport companies and internal departments
  • Warehouse operations: Plan and execute all warehouse activities, from receiving and sorting to storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Safety and compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Coordination and communication: Work with other departments (e.g., purchasing, sales) and external partners like transport companies and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Process improvement: Identify and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements to optimize overall warehouse performance
  • Budget management: Forecasting requirements and preparing budgets to manage expenditures effectively and meet financial objectives.
  • Team leadership: Hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff to build a high-performing, results-driven team. This involves monitoring performance, setting goals, and addressing operational issues

Qualifications:

· Graduate of any 4-year course is required for this role

· Must possess 3- 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations management, logistics operations management and supply chain operations is required for this role

· Minimum 3-5 years' experience in FMCG, Retail, or warehouse operations is required

· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex schedules and time-sensitive logistics

· Knowledgeable in inventory management or warehouse management systems and FIFO (First in First Out) processes

· Must possess proficiency in Microsoft applications e.g., excel power point and others

· Proficiency in inventory management software and general computer applications

· The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ability to work effectively with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and external partners, and internal stakeholder

· Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, anticipate logistical challenges, and develop effective solutions

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with various stakeholders and or clients

· Strong leadership and team management skills and abilities

· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex schedules and time-sensitive logistics shipments

Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and retail operations in the FMCG industry is a must
