Job Description

As a Learning and Development Manager, you will design and deliver impactful programs, partner with stakeholders, and implement innovative learning strategies that build organizational capability and drive continuous professional growth.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Learning and Development
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating L&D strategies and programs.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and research skills.
  • Proven expertise in project and/or program management.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
  • Extensive people management experience.
  • Excellent communication, consultation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in organizational development/behavior.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Organizational Development/Behavior is an advantage.
  • Proven experience working in organizational development for small to large business units.

Your Daily Tasks

Learning Management:

  • Lead the design and implementation of learning initiatives, policies, strategies, and projects.
  • Ensure equity and diversity objectives are reflected in planning and development activities.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide expert advice to directors and managers on trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify development needs and design tailored programs.

Coaching and Mentoring:

  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers.
  • Respond promptly to stakeholder inquiries.

Project Management:

  • Lead cross-functional project teams for diverse L&D initiatives.
  • Design curriculums and programs, including leadership and management training.

Innovation:

  • Research and evaluate innovative strategies in organizational development.
  • Recommend and implement best practices in adult learning.

Consulting:

  • Partner with leaders to define specific development requirements.
  • Collaborate on learning programs that meet organizational and individual needs.

Other Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate engagement of stakeholders with diverse demands.
  • Develop blended learning solutions for flexibility.
  • Maintain expertise on contemporary L&D trends and practices.
  • Work closely with leadership and People and Culture teams to align strategies.
  • Support in setting organizational priorities and operational strategies.
