
Business Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute sales development strategies that drive qualified leads and opportunities.
- Leverage CRM tools to monitor pipeline health, segment leads, and identify conversion trends.
- Develop and optimize lead scoring models, sales cadences, and outreach workflows.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align messaging, targeting, and go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze campaign performance and pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Train and support SDR/BDR teams on CRM usage, data hygiene, and lead qualification best practices.
- Work cross-functionally to improve customer acquisition strategies and nurture workflows.
- Report regularly on key metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and campaign ROI.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales strategy, sales operations, or business development.
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) — strong CRM reporting skills required.
- Solid understanding of B2B sales funnels, lead generation, and sales enablement practices.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and process-oriented with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with sales automation tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
- Familiarity with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Tableau, or other BI dashboards.
- Background in SaaS, tech, or high-growth B2B environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of account-based marketing (ABM) principles.
