Key Accounts Executive (B2B – Healthy Food Ingredients / Food Service & HORECA)

About Us

We are a fast-growing importer and repacker of healthy food ingredients supplying HORECA, institutional buyers, and food service clients. We build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships by helping customers find new applications, new product opportunities, and better ways to grow their businesses using our ingredients.

This role is for someone who understands the food industry, moves quickly, thinks commercially, and knows how to spot opportunities—not just take orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Development & Opportunity Hunting

  • Identify, develop, and manage business accounts in HORECA, food service, institutional buyers, traders, and food manufacturers.
  • Map out client needs and propose relevant SKUs, usage applications, and new product opportunities.
  • Expand each client's "basket" by recommending profitable, practical ingredient solutions.

Product & Application Knowledge

  • Understand and communicate ingredient benefits, quality specs, and common applications.
  • Use product knowledge to help customers discover new menu items, product lines, or business opportunities.

Relationship Management (End-to-End)

  • Handle the full customer journey: lead generation, pitching, sampling, price negotiation, PO management, delivery coordination, and after-sales support.
  • Maintain proactive communication with Operations, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Revenue, Growth & Reporting

  • Hit sales targets through both account acquisition and account expansion.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor behavior, and pricing movements, reporting actionable insights to management.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of B2B sales experience in the food industry (HORECA, institutional, food service, ingredients, distribution, or manufacturing).
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities within a client's business.
  • Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally across multiple internal teams.
  • Hands-on, solutions-focused, and able to move from idea to execution quickly.
  • Valid driver's license is a plus.
