About the Role:

Our client, is seeking a highly skilled Estimator with 3–5 years of experience in the Australian residential construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate take-offs, tenders, and quotes while ensuring compliance with Australian building codes and standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Experience with Builder trend or a similar construction management system will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and deliver accurate estimates, tenders, and quotes for residential construction projects.

· Complete detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns.

· Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and regulatory requirements.

· Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to source pricing and confirm project details.

· Maintain organized and detailed records of estimates and submissions.

· Manage multiple estimates concurrently while meeting deadlines.

· Support internal teams with pricing, budgeting, and project forecasting.

Skills and Experience Required:

· 3–5 years' experience as an Estimator in the residential construction industry.

· Proficiency with Builder trend (preferred) or other similar estimating/construction management software.

· Strong understanding of Australian building codes and compliance requirements.

· Proven ability to complete accurate take-offs, tenders, and quotes.

· High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills for supplier, subcontractor, and client interactions.

· Highly organized, process-driven, and able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
