
Moderator & Marketing Research Assistant

OVERVIEW
This is a dual-role position that serves both as the frontline moderator for all social media FAQs and as the assistant to the Marketing Researcher. The role ensures fast, accurate responses to online queries while providing meaningful feedback loops between customer questions and traditional market research methods. It is a key touchpoint between digital engagement and consumer insight analysis.
PART A: SOCIAL MEDIA MODERATION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Daily Monitoring of Social Media Platforms

Actively monitor Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok comments and inboxes across:

Kai Bar
-
Foodtown
-
Kai World
-
Dough & Dream (D&D)
-
Stomping Grounds (SG)
-
Other future brand pages
-
-
Perform at least two platform sweeps per day (AM and PM shifts)
2. Responding to General Inquiries
-
Reply to frequently asked questions using approved templates
-
Answer general questions on:
-
Mall location, parking, hours
-
Menu and pricing
-
Event details (e.g., buffet times, inclusions, booking process)
-
Venue guidelines (e.g., pet policy, kid-friendliness, discounts)
-
3. Escalation and Department Coordination
-
Flag and log any queries that require department-specific input
-
Tag proper departments in shared tracking sheet (e.g., F&B, Entertainment)
-
Follow up with departments to ensure queries are close
4. Feedback Loop and Trend Identification

Identify trending or repeated questions that may indicate:

Gaps in communication
-
Common guest concerns or confusions
-

Relay insights daily to SMM and Marketing Researcher
-
Recommend updates to FAQ content, captions, or auto-replies
5. Content Input and Messaging Support

Coordinate with the SMM to keep replies aligned with current promotions

Provide real-time guest feedback that can be used in:

Future content

Campaign pivots
-
Research prompts
-
PART B: MARKETING RESEARCH ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Field Support for Surveys and Focus Groups

Assist in the planning and execution of:

Food tasting surveys

Post-evaluation surveys
-
Focus group discussions (FGDs)
-
Help recruit, schedule, and prepare participants for field activities
2. Research Material Preparation

Draft and format:

Questionnaires

Discussion guides

Screening and profiling forms

Help create visual and written materials needed for fieldwork and presentations
3. Data Collection and Organization

Help collect and log data from:

In-person fieldwork

Google Forms or other digital surveys

Social media queries or comments

Organize insights into clearly categorized spreadsheets or summaries
4. Qualitative and Quantitative Insight Support

Support the Marketing Researcher in interpreting findings

Contribute to the writing and formatting of internal research reports

Assist in identifying patterns across survey data, interviews, and online feedback
5. Ongoing Market Monitoring

Help monitor trends in:

Customer behavior (both online and offline)

Competitor activities

Product performance

Compile findings to share with product development and content teams
