About the Role

We are hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting and compliance, particularly in the area of franchise accounting. This position is under Fastrack Multi-Purpose Cooperative. The role involves supervising accounting staff, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with both company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance
  • Issue monthly franchisee financial statements and settlement reports
  • Record inventory adjustments and losses, analyze stock variances, and recommend stronger internal controls
  • Monitor franchise financial performance including profitability, cost monitoring, and compliance
  • Coordinate with franchisees on financial queries and reporting concerns
  • Maintain accurate franchise account balances (advances, deductions, reimbursements)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and franchise financial terms
  • Supervise and train accounting assistants in franchise-specific accounting processes and reporting standards

Qualifications:

  • College graduate of an Accounting or Finance-related program
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Franchise Accounting (preferably with Franchise Operations and/or Retail Accounting background)
  • CPA license is an advantage but not required
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software
  • Ability to lead and train junior staff effectively
