Job Description

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project-related documents to ensure accuracy, proper version control, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update all project documents (drawings, contracts, permits, correspondences, etc.).

  • Ensure all documents are properly filed, labeled, and archived (both hard and soft copies).

  • Control and track the distribution of documents to project teams, consultants, and clients.

  • Coordinate with engineers, site staff, and the head office for document submission and retrieval.

  • Monitor document revisions and issue updated versions as needed.

  • Prepare and maintain transmittals, document logs, and tracking reports.

  • Support the project team in administrative and clerical tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any 4-year course

  • Has experience in document control within a construction or engineering company.

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office, Google Drive, and document control software (e.g., Aconex, Procore, etc. is a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
