The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role supports business needs and ensures the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The HR Manager is tasked with handling all personnel-related matters including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation and benefits, and organizational development.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Coordinate with cooperatives and manpower agencies for manpower requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation, deployment processes, and compliance from coop/agency partners.
Monitor SLAs, performance, and contract terms of third-party staffing providers.
Develop and implement effective HR strategies and processes that support the overall business objectives of ASC and OC and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to store managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee performance management activities, including performance appraisals, goal-setting, and development plans.
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring that they are competitive and aligned with industry standards
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, including orientation programs for new hires
- Stay updated on HR trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements and policy updates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Calculate and report on employee turnover rates (monthly, quarterly and annually)
- To onboard and train new hires.
- Monitor key recruiting metrics such as cost per hire and source of hire and source of hire.
- Handles Labor and Employee cases
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing DOLE mandated programs
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in handling end-to-end HR functions and personnel management.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Solid understanding of labor laws and HR best practices.
