Role Overview

As a Web Designer specializing in Wix Studio, you will be responsible for designing and building responsive, user-friendly websites that align with client branding and goals. You'll work primarily in Wix Studio, leveraging its advanced design tools to create high-performing digital experiences. This role requires creativity, technical proficiency, and a passion for clean UI/UX, with opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Website Design & Development: Create visually appealing, responsive websites from scratch using Wix Studio, ensuring alignment with client branding and objectives.
  • UI/UX Optimization: Design intuitive layouts that enhance user experience, focusing on accessibility, responsiveness, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Customization: Customize layouts, color schemes, typography, and imagery using Wix Studio's design tools to meet client specifications.
  • Content Management: Update and refine existing Wix Studio websites with layout enhancements, UI improvements, and performance optimizations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Web Design Manager, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to execute full web builds and ensure project alignment.
  • Portfolio Maintenance: Maintain a portfolio of Wix Studio projects to showcase design capabilities to potential clients.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on web design trends, Wix Studio updates, and best practices for web accessibility and responsive design.
Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in web design, with at least 1 year using Wix Studio or Wix Classic Editor.
  • Strong proficiency in Wix Studio, including its advanced design and customization features.
  • Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and web accessibility standards.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma.
  • Knowledge of branding, color theory, and typography.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Desirable:

  • Experience with Wix Classic Editor, WordPress (e.g., Elementor), or Shopify.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for custom adjustments in Wix Studio.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
  • Experience working in a digital agency or with international clients.
